Our Mission Focus  ……. Better together

We are a family of partner ministries united together by a Fellowship Covenant to form one  united multi-lingual church. We believe we are and will be better together.

Our Mission is to make disciples of the people in our diverse ethnic communities and to foster the biblical vision of an all nations/international community inspired by Isaiah 11, Ephesians 2, Revelation 7.

Our Hope is to see diverse interdependent language ministries partnering together to make a significant impact for God in our Arcadia-Temple City community. We want to show the community that unity in Christ is possible even among people of diverse backgrounds and cultures, and that we can respect each other and work with each other as brothers & sisters.

Our Process: The CRC triangle describes the discipling process and the cross indicates we are cross focused followers of Jesus.

Mature disciples are persons who are engaged somehow in the ministry of making disciples because they love others  and love God.

Discipleship starts by developing a person’s faith in and love for God, and deepens in fellowship and love for others. The goal of discipleship and the church is serving the world.   Our discipling process moves people from loving God in our Sunday worship services (training), to loving others in our small group fellowships (scrimmaging), so we can serve the world in ministry (the game).

 

Our HIC values

● Loving God ●

Principle: We were made to love God; and worshiping him empowers us.

Action: We will worship with heart, soul, mind, and strength on a weekly basis.

English: We will make God known, model the disciple’s life, and lead in the unification process.

 

● Loving Others ●

Principle: Everyone is created in the image of God, gifted for service, and worthy of love.

Action: We will use our gifts to love and support others in small groups without prejudice.

English: We will respect everyone, seek to use the diverse gifts, and facilitate unity.

 

● Serving the World ●

Principle: Jesus calls us to love others and serve the world.

Action: We will spend time serving others in our small groups and in our neighborhood.

English: We will spearhead unified service and be involved in the outreach ministries of HIC.
