One of our highest priorities – a core value - as a
church is Intimacy with God. Our theme text from 1 Peter 4:7 calls us to
regulate our lives in such a way “so that we can pray.” Jesus,
too, was a man of prayer who taught us to pray. For us at Hope Church that
means we will spend time in prayer both individually and communally. Prayer,
we know, empowers us for Spirit directed living and ministry, and helps
us to live with joy. Our desire is to have everyone be in touch with God,
and our goal is to support our members, our visitors, our ministry teams,
the church, and the world through prayer. We have a time for people
to be prayed for after our Sunday morning worship service. |
