Hope International Church is a part of a larger group of churches called
the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA, or just CRC).
Here are some facts to help you get to know the CRC.
1. The CRCNA (Christian Reformed Church of North America) is a family
of 950 congregations in Canada and the USA. About 50 CRC churches are
located in the LA area. They are English, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese,
Indonesian, and Chinese. There are other CRC’s around the world
especially in Nigeria, South America, and the Netherlands.
2. CRCNA has approximately 300 000 individual members - 6000 in LA.

3. The CRCNA officially began in 1857. HOPE Internationa Church started
as a mission outreach in 1941 and was formerly known as the Arcadia
Christian Reformed Church.
4. The early members and the organizational structure of the CRCNA came
from a European background. We use the presbyterian system of government
– that means our churches are led by elders.
5. The CRC emphasizes need based ministry and community development
as a way of bringing the gospel into the lives of people. There are
five belief areas we value and share. 1. Our God reigns 2. The church
partners with God in his mission. 3. Jesus is Lord. 4. God gives us
assurance & 5. God is with us.

The CRC has a head office in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The head office
